Musically Mindful Workshop Packages

During my research for my Master thesis, I discovered that although 80% of American children between the ages of 3 and 5 attend preschool, less than half of the children entering kindergarten demonstrate the necessary skills for academic and social success.

In my study, I interviewed 105 early childhood educators, 88% of them stated than music and movement helps with self regulation, focus, and social emotional support.

However, they also expressed frustration due to challenges implementing music as an intervention because of time restraints, lack of resources, and low self-confidence in leading musical activities with their students.

Our Musically Mindful Workshops help teachers obtain the skills needed to choose developmentally appropriate children’s music, implement a variety of musical activities, and address specific music concepts. Upon completion of our workshops, teachers will have a better understanding of self-regulation, executive function skills, and the musical concepts that specifically target these skills.

A PDF and a Digital recording of the songs taught during the workshop will be provided, as well as a personal instrument kit to keep.

Our mission is for teachers to have access to the necessary tools to foster their students’ academic success and emotional well-being through music making.

Music is an outlet that is accessible to all children of all ages and abilities.

We have curated the following packages to ensure that educators and administrators find one to meet their needs. However, we can customize a package to fit your budget.
